To promote future expansion of the BNA Bank Cotton States Baseball League, the CSBL has announced that Sunday afternoon games on July 11 and on July 18 will be held at Itawamba AHS Field in Fulton, Mississippi, and New Hope HS Field in New Hope, Mississippi, respectively.

"We wanted to branch out and let a couple of communties who have been key supporters of our league get to see their teams up close," CSBL director Clark Richey said.  "We have juggled the games a little to set up a Tribe-Jets match-up in New Hope where we expect New Hope native Brent Hallmark to pitch against the local GT Jets team."

"With Coach Brian Long assisting with the Thunder team and several former IAHS players involved, we knew that a double-header in  Fulton on the 11th would be a good idea also," Richey added.

Both Fulton and New Hope/Columbus are considered good options for team locations as the CSBL expands to multiple sites in the future.

The league also announced that three (3) Friday night CSBL games in the New Albany Sportsplex in July - July 9, 16 & 23 - have been rescheduled to Thursdays July 8, July 15 & July 22 to accommodate other events held in the Sportsplex on those original dates.
